MARBLEHEAD (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Police are looking for the suspect wanted in connection with a Marblehead bank robbery.

Marblehead police received a 911 call at around 2:35 pm with a report of a man who just robbed the Bank of America on Pleasant Street.

The suspect walked up to the teller and presented a note, demanding money. The suspect then departed the bank. No weapons were shown and there were no injuries.

The man is described as a white male in his 20's, around 6 feet tall, wearing a gray hooded Nike sweatshirt with a tear on the right shoulder. The suspect may have fled in an older model four-door white sedan.

The suspect matched a description given earlier by Swampscott agencies investigating an attempted robbery in Vinnin Square in Swampscott. Both investigations are still ongoing.

Anyone with information is urged to call Chief Robert Picariello at 781-631-1212.
