NEW YORK (MyFoxBoston.com/AP) — New England quarterback Tom Brady and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell have arrived at Manhattan federal court to seek a solution to "Deflategate."
Brady and Goodell arrived at court just past 10 a.m.
A federal court judge is eager to help them settle last season's controversy over deflated footballs at the AFC championship game in time for the start of a new season next month. Goodell has suspended Brady four games, saying he had to know about the deflation. The NFL players union says Brady did nothing wrong.
The Wednesday morning hearing scheduled before Judge Richard Berman is the kickoff to what could be a series of court proceedings.
Berman asked both sides including Goodell and Brady to meet with him privately a half hour before the hearing.
