MINNEAPOLIS (MyFoxBoston.com) - The NFL Players Association has filed paperwork to begin Brady's federal case against the league for his 4-game suspension.
In the motion, the NFLPA asks for permission to file certain portions of the "Petition to Vacate Arbitration Award" on behalf of Tom Brady under seal.
"The NFLPA makes the motion to seal portions of the Brady Petition, Brady Memorandum and Confidential Exhibits, in order to comply with existing confidentiality agreements with Respondents National Football League and National Football League Management Council," the filing said.
The motion asks the court to rule immediately, or file an injunction so Brady can continue to play.

Richard Kyle is the federal court judge preliminary assigned to rule on Brady's fate; he sits in Minneapolis.
Tuesday afternoon NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced that he was going to uphold the 4-game suspension handed to Brady for deflategate.
Patriots owner Robert Kraft spoke out about the decision saying his decision to not fight penalties against the team was wrong.
Even though the motion was filed in Minnesota, there is a possibility that the case could end up in, what's considered, a less friendlier court for players in New York. On Tuesday, in anticipation of a Brady suit, the NFl filed paperwork at the federal court in Manhattan seeking confirmation of the suspension.
