CONCORD, NH (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley was in Concord, NH meeting with Democrats in anticipation of a possible presidential bid.
FOX25 caught up with him after he met with the N.H Democratic party in Concord.
"People actually take their vote very seriously. They are open to new faces to new names," he told FOX25's Sharman Sacchetti.
After his meeting, O'Malley stopped outside to talk with Sacchetti, which is more than we can say for Secretary Hillary Clinton.
She came to the Granite State just over three weeks ago, and after two heavily staged events, she took only a few questions from reporters. And that was on the first day. On the second, Clinton walked away from us.
In fact, she hasn't taken a question in three weeks.
When asked if O'Malley believed Clinton is running like a frontrunner, he said he "didn't come here to talk about Secretary Clinton."
The former governor said he had a "great deal of respect for her and also former President Clinton."
O'Malley is hesitant to criticize her, and didn't have to when he pointed out voters need choices, on both sides.
"The presidency is not a crown to be passed back and forth between two royal families," he said.
Clinton's campaign is touting it has a thousand volunteers, and a strong organization. Her spokeswoman wouldn't say when we could speak with her, but said soon, when we asked when she'd be back in NH.
O'Malley says he expects to make a decision within days and would likely be back in the Granite State within weeks.
