(
MyFoxBoston.com) -- Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft, and Brandon Spikes are all listed on the prosecution's potential witness list in Aaron Hernandez's murder trial in Bristol County.
In a motion filed to the Bristol Superior Court by Hernandez's lawyers Oct. 31, the state's witness list was revealed for the first time, highlighted by 305 potential witnesses that the defense would like pared down.
In all, 70 law enforcement officials, 44 experts, and 32 record-keepers are being listed as potential witnesses along with 159 civilians.
Belichick and Kraft are the most notable members of the New England Patriots brass present on the list. The potential witness list also includes Mark Briggs, the chief operating officer for the team's security firm. Former Patriots player Spikes, who now plays for the Buffalo Bills and was Hernandez's teammate at Florida as well, is also on the list.
Lawyers for Hernandez are asking that the state pare down its list of potential witnesses to only those that the state may actually call so they can better prepare for trial. Hernandez's trial in Bristol County is set to begin Jan. 9, 2015.
