Transit Police searching for man accused of committing lewd act on MBTA

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - MBTA Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of inappropriately touching himself on a red line train.

Investigators released a wanted poster for the man on Tuesday. The poster features a photo taken by a witness to the alleged acts.

According to police, the man stood in front of a victim on Friday around 6:30 p.m. while the train was between Braintree and Broadway MBTA stations.

The victim claims the man inappropriately touched himself on two separate occasions during the trip. This victim’s friend was able to snap a photo of the man.

At the time of the incident, the man who is believed to be 20-30 years of age, was wearing a long sleeve green and orange striped polo, khaki shorts, dark Nike sneakers, and was carrying a large suitcase.
