Shooting victim found in Roxbury store, succumbs to injuries

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Boston Police are investigating the early morning shooting death of a man found inside a convenience store in Roxbury.

Investigators responded to a convenience store at 655 Warren Street just before 4:30 a.m. on Saturday morning on reports of a shooting. They arrived to find a black male in his mid-twenties suffering from what they believe were multiple gunshot wounds.

The unidentified male was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

According to the city of Boston’s website , the address where the victim was found is considered a “problem property” by the city.

The homicide unit continued their investigation on Saturday afternoon. Police have not said whether or not they are looking for a suspect in the shooting, or if the victim was or was not shot inside the store. They have asked anyone with information to call the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
