WEBSTER, Mass. (FOX25, myfoxboston) - Police are asking the public for their assistance in the arrest of a man who robbed a bank last Thursday.
The suspect entered the Hometown Bank on Main St. in Webster at approximately 3:45 P.M. after watching the bank for around 30 minutes prior to the robbery. He showed a note to the teller and held a plastic shopping bag open for the teller to put money into. He then fled the bank heading East on Main St. before he disappeared behind some buildings.
The suspect is described as a white male with some facial hair, approximately 5’10”-6’ tall. He has a medium build and is in between 30-40 years of age. Investigators believe that he may also be balding or have a shaved head.
At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a black leather jacket, tan or light green cargo pants, a black baseball cap with a white logo on the front, dark sunglasses and a watch on his left wrist.
