WORCESTER (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A second person has been arraigned in connection with the fatal shooting of a Worcester man in April.
Waldemar Quinones pleaded not guilty in Worcester Superior Court on Thursday to first-degree murder, carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm without a license and possessing ammunition without a firearm identification card.
The Telegram & Gazette reports he was ordered held without bail.
Authorities say 22-year-old Jose Rivera was shot April 6 not far from his family's home. Quinones and Cesar Camejo Torres have been charged with murder.
Quinones was taken into custody May 5 in Puerto Rico. Torres was arrested May 14 in Virginia and is also awaiting trial on murder and firearm charges in the slaying. He has pleaded not guilty. Four others have been charged as accessories.
