BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- We know how New England fans feel about deflategate, but what does it look like to the rest of the country?
We sat down with one expert who tells us Tom Brady's image may be starting to crack, even here. No matter how you feel for the quarterback or the Patriots, are they using a winning public relations strategy right now?
We went to the experts, who tell FOX25 the only place it appears to be winning is right here in New England.
"Other places where they follow football, they're all, 'yeah, stick it to em!' They're all like this is what he deserves," said Frank Shorr, a senior lecturer and director of the Sports Institute at Boston University.
He says there's what New England thinks, and what the other teams believe.
Still he says this may start to affect Brady's image.
"In New England, some of the people who said he's our guy, he's our knight in shining armor, this is Tom terrific, they're starting, there's a camp that's saying, well maybe he did do something wrong," Shorr said.
As for Robert Kraft, Shorr says if anything, he is telling fans what they want to hear.
"What he's done is he's really set up this us versus them mentality that Bill Belichick couldn't ask for anything more when it comes to going into the season," he said.
And when it comes to Brady, Shorr says it's tough to roll back his position and he doesn't expect he will.
Shorr believes the quarterback's statement that he released on his Facebook page has stayed true to what he's said all along, that he did nothing wrong.
