MyFoxBoston.com / AP) — Actors Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck say they've decided to divorce after 10 years of marriage.
The couple announced in a joint statement Tuesday that the decision comes after careful consideration. They say they remain committed to co-parenting their three children, Violet Affleck, 9, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, 6 and Samuel Garner Affleck, 3.
Speculation over their marriage has gone on for months. It was stoked recently by the appearance of a moving van at their family home in the Brentwood neighborhood.
The couple, whose anniversary was Monday, say that their statement will be their only comment on the matter.
The divorce will not be finalized immediately, according to TMZ, but will only be filed when all of the property and custody issues are resolved.
