Two days after overseeing a flurry of activity at the NHL Draft, Bruins general manager Don Sweeney made another move, acquiring center Zac Rinaldo from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for a third round draft choice in 2017.
Rinaldo, 25, has spent the last two seasons exclusively in Philadelphia, where he's scored a total of three goals and tallied 16 assists while accumulating 255 minutes in penalties.
He made his debut in Philadelphia during the 2011-12 season. Over the course of the last four seasons, Rinaldo has scored eight goals, with 16 assists. He was originally drafted in the 6th round (178th overall) in the 2008 NHL Draft.
