MyFoxBoston.com) - A man from Miami-Dade County was arrested Tuesday after he was caught by detectives for advertising “top shelf” marijuana on Craigslist,
KeysInfoNet reports.Undercover deputies from Monroe County Sheriff's Office replied to the advertisement in an e-mail and asked Ramses Silva, 23, to meet them in the Keys to buy the drugs, according to KeysInfoNet.
The alleged dealer told detectives he had “fire” for sale, a street name for high-quality marijuana, and would sell it for $320.
Detectives met him in a parking lot at a Key Largo convenience store. Silva was arrested after they paid him in cash for two packages of the marijuana.
When searching Silva's car, deputies found more marijuana, an Adderall pill and “various items of drug paraphernalia,” according to KeysInfoNet.
Silva was taken to Monroe County Jail on Wednesday and is held on no bond. He is charged with marijuana possession with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, using a cell phone to facilitate a felony and possessing drug paraphernalia.
