LAWRENCE, Mass. (
MyFoxBoston.com) – Nearly two-dozen people have been arrested in Lawrence connected to what police are calling a major heroin ring.
According to police those arrested range in age from 17 to 59 years old and include dealers as well as buyers.
"Today we sent a message to drug dealers and those who think they can come to our city to purchase narcotics with impunity that we will not tolerate this dangerous and illegal activity," Lawrence Police Chief Fitzpatrick said.
