Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will have his appeal heard at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, June 23 at the NFL's headquarters in New York City.
The hearing is scheduled for Tuesday and, if necessary, will continue Thursday, June 25.
Jeffrey Kessler will represent Brady along with counsel from the NFL Players Association. DeMaurice Smith is expected to attend the hearing, along with Troy Vincent, who imposed Brady's four-game suspension and Roger Goodell, the NFL Commissioner.
The NFLPA asked Goodell to recuse himself as arbitrator in the case, but Goodell leaned on his right to do so, as dictated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the NFL and the NFLPA, signed in 2011.
Brady was suspended four games on May 11, five days after the Wells Report was made public. The Patriots were also fined $1 million and penalized with the loss of two draft picks. Team Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft reluctantly accepted those penalties without appeal.
