Dedham selectman arrested allegedly protesting pipeline

DEDHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The chairman of the Board of Selectmen in Dedham was arrested during a protest Thursday morning.

Chairman Mike Butler was on Elm Street, just outside the FOX25 studio, to protest the construction of a pipeline at the time of his arrest.

Town officials in Dedham and surrounding areas are against Spectra Energy's Natural Gas pipeline is being installed. They believe it will cause health and safety issues for members of the community.
