Foxborough, Mass -- The Patriots put a lot of emphasis on throwing the ball during minicamp Wednesday. Tom Brady and the offense responded by dominating the defense during redzone work.
There was almost a party atmosphere surrounding the practice fields. The Pats had loud music playing, plus there was a small group of onlookers in the bleachers watching practice.
During a stretch when Brady was torching the defense, he threw two straight touchdowns to Rob Gronkowski on fade routes. House of Pain's "Jump Around" was playing and Gronk showed the fans just how much he enjoys that song by doing the Gronk dance to celebrate.
With all the passes flying, the Patriot receivers got a lot of work. Receiver Brian Tyms was on the opposite end of many of those passes, but Tyms had a hard time catching them. Tyms agreed and broke down his play on Wednesday.
"I hold myself to a really high standard and I feel as though, when the ball is thrown my way I have to make a play. So when I don't make it. I feel bad so." Tyms told me after practice.
Patriots canceled practice on Thursday, so this was the final media availability for the Patriots until Training camp.
