3 injured after shooting in Lynn

LYNN, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com/AP) -- Three men were injured in a shooting early Saturday in Lynn and police are still looking for the suspect.

At about 1:30 a.m., three people were shot near a home on Highland Avenue, police say. A 33-year-old Revere man had seven gunshot wounds, and a 29-year-old Lynn man had four. Both men were shot in the torso and are in critical condition at Mass. General Hospital.

A third man who lived at the Highland Avenue home had a gunshot wound to his wrist and was taken to Salem Hospital.

Police say the Revere man had a large bag of crack cocaine beneath his body.

The investigation into this shooting remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
