2 more come forward in Bill Cosby sex assault scandal

Posted: Updated:

LOS ANGELES (MyFoxBoston.com) – Over the last several months, Comedian Bill Cosby has been under fire amid allegations of sexual abuse, coming from dozens of women. Now, two more alleged victims have come forward, according to TheWrap.

The 77-year-old has been surrounded by this scandal since the news first broke earlier this year. The world was shocked when they learned the man they came to know as a warm TV dad had a dark side. One of the women who spoke out Friday, Lili Bernard, was an actress who appeared on the classic sitcom “The Cosby Show.”

In a news conference Friday, Bernard and Sammie Mays came forward with their allegations against Cosby, TheWrap reported. Bernard says she was drugged before she was raped and then threatened by the comedian. She says this happened while he was helping her get ready for her role on the show.

“After he had won my complete trust and adoration he drugged me and raped me,” Bernard said in a statement.

Most of the victims that have come forward said they were drugged before being assaulted by Cosby.

Bernard went on to say that her last encounter with the comedian took place at the “Cosby Show” studios back in 1992. That's when he allegedly threatened her, saying she was “dead” and that he never wanted to see her face again, TheWrap reported.

Mays also spoke at the news conference, saying that she met Cosby in the mid-‘80s while she was covering a convention. She asked him for an interview, and he asked her to walk to his hotel.

She went on to say once in the hotel, Cosby mixed her a drink and the next thing she remembered was waking up from a “state of unconsciousness” with her shirt unbuttoned and belt loose around her waist.

In addition to these two women, three others came forward last week with similar accusations in addition to the dozens of others who spoke out earlier this year.

Cosby's attorney has denied previous allegations, still the comedian's career has suffered since this news was brought to light.
