Bryan Salmond joined FOX25 as the weekend sports anchor and reporter in January, 2015, strategically timing his arrival with the Patriots fourth Super Bowl Championship.

Bryan's last stop was at WWLTV in New Orleans where he held the same position. In his role at WWLTV, he anchored weekend sportscasts, hosted New Orleans' highest rated high school football show 'Fourth Down Friday', and contributed to WWLTV.com and other sports programming.

Prior to joining WWLTV Bryan was the regional sports director in Eugene, OR. While there, he planned and executed coverage of two Pac-12 schools, Oregon and Oregon State, as well as high school football and basketball coverage. Bryan also covered the Oregon Ducks first National Title run.

Bryan also spent five wonderful years living in Las Vegas covering everything from NASCAR to the World Series of Darts. During his time at  KTNV-TV ABC 13 in Las Vegas, Bryan experienced Championship Boxing regularly, the rise of the UFC and his first NBA All-Star game.  He also covered sports for KBTV-TV FOX 4 in Beaumont, TX and for KPAX-TV CBS 8 in Missoula, MT.

Bryan's television career began behind-the-scenes in production at CNN Sports Illustrated in Atlanta, GA. After 3 years there, he decided to make the move to sports anchoring and reporting in front of the camera.

A native of Oakland/Vallejo in California's Bay Area, Bryan finished high school in the Seattle area and graduated college at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA where he studied communications.

You will catch Bryan still struggling at a local gym playing basketball. If you have an interesting sports story don't hesitate to drop Bryan an email. Lastly, Bryan would like to thank his family for their support because he would not be where he is without them.
