Celtics will play in Mexico City next season

NEW YORK (AP) -- The Boston Celtics will play the Sacramento Kings in Mexico City in December, the NBA's third regular-season game in Mexico.

It will be the league's 22nd game in Mexico overall, the most for any country outside the U.S. and Canada.

The Dec. 3 game will be the centerpiece of a trip that will also include community programs and interactive fan events.

The NBA is also planning two preseason games in China between the Charlotte Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers. More international games will be announced, the league said.
