MERRIMACK, NH (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A man was allegedly under the influence of drugs while driving with a four-year-old in the car.

Police say that 30-year-old Edwin Potter was seen driving erratically on the Daniel Webster Highway just before 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

Officers say they searched the car and found a small amount of marijuana inside.

Potter was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs, endangering the welfare of a child and drug possession.

Potter was held on $1,000 bail and is scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday.
