ROCKLAND, Mass. (
MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police arrested a suspect they believe was involved in two armed robberies.
The first armed robbery took place on Feb. 4, when police say a suspect walked into a Metro PCS store wearing a mask. Police say the suspect passed a note to the clerk which demanded cash and stated that he had a gun. After the clerk handed over the cash, the suspect ran away from the scene. No injuries were reported.
The second armed robbery took place on April 8 at a Boost Mobile Phone store. The suspect passed a note to the clerk that demanded. The suspect pointed a black handgun at the clerk, which is when a fight broke out between the clerk and the suspect.
The suspect dropped his back pack to the ground and fled the store. The back pack was left behind.
After an investigation, police arrested 24-year-old Nicholas Marrow in connection to the robberies. On April 10, police executed a search warrant of Marrow's apartment and vehicle and say they found a black pellet-type handgun and clothing matching the description of the ones wore during the robberies.
Marrow was arrested and scheduled for arraignment on Monday.
