HAVERHILL, Mass. (
MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Haverhill Public School teacher is out on bail after being arraigned on drug charges.
Amanda Roche, 27, was arrested on Thursday around 9 p.m. after police arrived at a home on Webster Street to execute a search warrant.
Roche was charged with drug possession and intent to distribute. The Haverhill Public School system placed Roche on administrative leave following her arrest, officials say.
Also arrested at the time was 25-year-old Jim Alizee, who was held without bail.
Our cameras captured the moments a judge arraigned Roche and Alizee Friday.
In court documents detailing Roche's arrest, investigators say, "Amanda was informed that we knew that Jim was selling drugs out of the apartment and that he used her car to deliver them to customers. Amanda adamantly denied any involvement but did state she knew he was selling drugs but it was his business."
It goes on to say investigators found in her bedroom, "two baggies of white powder that later field tested positive for cocaine."
Roche declined to comment outside of court. She is due back in court next month.
