CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Seeking support in the state hosting the nation's first presidential primary, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush faces a mixed history of voting for members of his family.
Bush arrives in New Hampshire on Friday for two public events and a series of private meetings with party leaders and activists.
He enjoys strong standing in early polls in New Hampshire. But the state has given the Bush family both wins and losses in previous presidential primary and general election campaigns.
His father, George H.W. Bush, lost the 1980 Republican primary to Ronald Reagan but went on to win three other times in New Hampshire. His brother, George W. Bush, lost New Hampshire to John McCain in the 2000 primary campaign but carried the state in the general election.
