BOSTON (
MyFoxBoston.com) -- The Boston Celtics finally pulled the trigger on a Jeff Green trade.
The forward is on his way to the Memphis Grizzlies in a three-way trade that included the New Orleans Pelicans. The Celtics will get veteran forward Tayshaun Prince and guard Austin Rivers in return.
Memphis also received point guard Russ Smith in the trade from New Orleans, while New Orleans received forward Quincy Pondexter from Memphis.
The Boston Herald reports the Celtics are currently in talks with the Los Angeles Clippers to send Rivers, son of Clippers head coach Doc Rivers, to Los Angeles in another trade. But that trade may be held up for a sweeter deal.
