1 dead after plane crashes on street in California

 VANNUYS, Ca. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- One person is dead after a plane crashed on a busy street in VanNuys, California.

At about 4 p.m., a small plane crashed down at the intersection of Vanowen Street and Havenhurst Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department's Twitter page.

The one occupant onboard the plane was determined dead on scene. The plane managed to stay away from cars and other structures and did not catch fire. ?
