(MyFoxBoston.com) – Disney announced the long-awaited subtitle for Stars Wars Episode: VII Thursday.
Disney broke the news on Twitter Thursday morning, saying that the subtitle for Star Wars Episode: VII will be The Force Awakens, according to The Verge. The title is fitting for the series, which is intended to be more like the original trilogy, The Verge reported.
J.J. Abrams will direct the movie and several of the original cast members will be part of it as well.
Filming has wrapped on the much-anticipated film, but it's not scheduled to come out until December of next year.
