Lucic fined $5,000 by NHL

BOSTON (AP) -- Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic has been fined $5,000 by the NHL for his obscene gesture made to Canadiens fans in Montreal.

Lucic mouthed off to officials and made the gesture after being sent to the penalty box for boarding during last night's 6-4 loss.

Money from the fine will go the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
