YouTube: cuso26(MyFoxBoston.com) – This afternoon's viral video is a reminder that nature can do some pretty amazing things from time to time.
A viewer of KARE 11 in Minneapolis shared an awesome video of ice "chandeliering" in a Minnesota lake.
According to a KARE meteorologist. Chandeliering is a process that involves piles of ice splintering into fine shards as they heat up and reach the state where ice first crystallizes. The pile appears to rapidly grow and then collapse on itself.
The video was later uploaded to YouTube and has received more than 220,000 views since Sunday.
