Passengers on a whale watch saw a lot more than they bargained for this week. They spotted a Great White shark about 8 miles off of shore.
Jay Frontierro was leading a group of passengers on the 7 Seas Whale Watch on Wednesday when he spotted something unusual. He identified it almost immediately as a Great White shark about 10-12 feet long.
On his website , Frontierro explained that spotting sharks is not unusual, but they're commonly Basking sharks or Blue sharks. This is the first time he's seen a Great White.
