More than 18,000 people will endure the blazing heat as they run the 2012 Boston Marathon on Monday.
Twenty of the runner are 18-years-old which is the youngest age the Boston Athletic Association allows to officially run the 26.2 miles.
Lexington High School senior Anna Berman is one of those 20 taking to the streets on Marathon Monday. She is fulfilling a lifelong goal of running the marathon while helping hundreds of children in the process.
FOX 25's Kristine Leahy talked with Berman about her partnership with Horizons for Homeless Children.
