FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) - An acquaintance of a slain Massachusetts man says former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez looked angry at the victim a couple of days before the slaying.

Kwami Nicholas was on the stand Tuesday when he said he was in the same club as Hernandez and Odin Lloyd two nights before Lloyd was killed.

Hernandez is accused of the June 17, 2013, killing of Lloyd, who was dating Hernandez's fiancee's sister.

Under questioning by prosecutors, Nicholas testified that Hernandez stared at Lloyd and looked angry. The description was stricken by the judge after the defense objected.

Nicholas then testified that Hernandez went "storming out of the club" with his head down at closing time and brushed off Lloyd, who was following behind.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty.
