BOSTON (
MyFoxBoston.com) -- Wrapped in white plastic, and trucked through the city of Boston overnight, the infamous Watertown boat where Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was arrested, moved early in the morning.
Only FOX25 was there as the boat, the Slip Away II, was moved to an undisclosed location in South Boston.
From 8:23 a.m. to 8:53 a.m. Monday, the Tsarnaev jury, two at a time, climbed aboard a forklift to see for themselves where Dzhokhar Tsarnaev hid and scrawled a message inside the hull before being captured.
Tsarnaev, unshackled and free of handcuffs, watched with his attorneys as jurors examined the bullet-riddled boat.
Only two members of the media were allowed to observe this jury viewing. One of them was the Associated Press' Denise Lavoie.
"We observed at least 110 bullet holes, obvious bullet holes in the boat. On all sides of the boat," Lavoie said. "But we cant be sure of how many, because each was covered in evidence tape."
Back inside, the dramatic events leading up to Tsarnaev's arrest was the focal point of every witness.

They described a hellish scene, full of gunfire and bombs, ending with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev running over his own brother Tamerlan with the carjacked Mercedes SUV they stole just over an hour before, in a desperate bid to escape.
Officer Joseph Reynolds told the jury how he found the Tsarnaev brothers on Dexter and Laurel streets, how he locked eyes with the driver of the Mercedes, and how the two opened fire on him.
"It was nonstop," he said. "All I could see was muzzle flashes."
Other officers arrived on the scene.
Among them was Sgt. John MacLellan, who rolled his SUV police cruiser at the brothers while the bullets flew.
He took cover behind a tree when a large bomb in a backpack landed near him.
The explosion was so fierce, car alarms were set off, and it rained pellets down on the street, he said.
Sgt. MacLellan was rattled.
"My eyes were shaking violently in my head. I couldn't see straight. I was still being shot at. I was behind a plastic fence.
I was afraid I was going to be killed," he said.
Another Watertown officer, Sgt. Jeff Pugliese went into backyards in an effort to flank the brothers.
He testified that he engaged Tamerlan in a shootout, which ended when Tamerlan's gun malfunctioned.
Pugliese said he tackled Tamerlan to the ground, but couldn't handcuff him because Tamerlan resisted.
He testified he was still struggling with Tamerlan when suddenly the Mercedes SUV, driven by Dzhokhar, bore down on him.
"I reached Tamerlan and grabbed him by his belt. I was trying to drag him to keep him from getting hit. The car was coming right at us," Pugliese testified. "The black SUV was in my face. I rolled onto my back, I felt the breeze of the vehicle by my face. I saw the front wheels go over Tamerlan."
Tamerlan Tsarnaev's body, according to testimony, was caught under the SUV's rear wheels, but Tamerlan was still alive when his brother drove out of the neighborhood, only to be found in the boat hours later.
