Police searching for C&S; Variety armed robber

DARTMOUTH (FOX 25 / myfoxboston.com) - Police are searching for a man who robbed a C&S; Variety store with a gun in Dartmouth.

The store is located at 659 Faunce Corner Road.

According to witnesses, the male suspect entered the store and showing a black gun, demanded the clerk open the cash register. He then walked behind the counter, grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s to early 50s. He is approximately 5’5” tall and weighs around 140 lbs. He has a salt and pepper goatee and discolored teeth. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black gloves, reading glasses and a Patriots baseball cap.
