NEW BEDFORD - Police are looking for help in identifying a suspect who allegedly robbed a bank in New Bedford yesterday and possibly several others in Massachusetts.

On Monday just after 3:30 p.m., a man walked into the Sovereign Bank located at 585 Allen Street in New Bedford and handed the teller a note demanding money.

After investigating footage, police believe that the man in the surveillance pictures who robbed the Sovereign Bank yesterday may also be implicated in additional bank robberies in Fall River and Raynham.
