BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Prices at the pump have resumed their upward trend in Massachusetts.
AAA Southern New England said Monday that its latest survey found self-serve regular selling for an average of $2.82 per gallon in the Bay State, up three cents from a week ago.
The average had dipped a penny in last week's survey, but had risen in each of the four previous weeks.
The current price in Massachusetts is three cents below the national average of $2.85 per gallon. But it's also 18 cents higher than it was at this time a year ago.
AAA's survey found gas prices ranging from a low of $2.71 to a high of $2.97 per gallon in Massachusetts.
