Report names man behind Whitney Houston casket photo

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - It was the photo that sparked controversy following Whitney Houston's death.

Now, we may be one step closer to finding out who snapped a photo of the singer in her casket.

Forbes magazine is reporting that Raffles van Exel is responsible for selling the infamous photo of a deceased Houston to the National Enquirer.

Van Exel is known in Hollywood circles as a celebrity tagalong who has aligned himself with the likes of Houston and Michael Jackson.

The picture was taken during a private wake at the Whigham Funeral Home.

The owner has denied all along any involvement with the photo.
