Photo of Whitney Houston in casket released

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A new, controversial photo published of Whitney Houston has many asking "how far is too far?"

FOX 25 blurred out the picture of the late music legend in her casket that's on this week's cover of the National Enquirer.

The tabloid claims it was taken at the Whigham Funeral Home in New Jersey, but it doesn't say how they got the photo.

A spokesperson for the funeral home says they're confident the picture was not released by a member of the staff as Houston's body was heavily guarded by security.

Only close friends and family were invited to the viewing. They say it was likely taken by one of them.
