
This was Bergeron's fourth nomination as a finalist for the award. With the win, he joined Pavel Datsyuk, Guy Carbonneau and Jerry Lehtinen, who each have won the award three times, and now trails only the Canadiens' Bob Gainey, who has won four times.
Bergeron led the NHL in faceoff wins and winning percentage for a fourth consecutive year. The 2015 NHL All-Star also posted 55 points in 81 games centering the top line for the Bruins this season.
