HYANNIS, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com/AP) - Police in Hyannis say a 19-year-old man has died after being shot during a suspected drug deal.
Authorities say David Anthony Colon of Hyannis was pronounced dead at Cape Cod Hospital on Friday morning, hours after he was shot at about 2 a.m. while he was in a car during an apparent marijuana sale.
The Cape and Islands District Attorney's Office says other passengers in the car drove Colon to the hospital after the shooting.
Late Thursday, police announced that two were arrested in connection with this case. Kyle Jeffrey Walker of South Yarmouth, 24, and Keven Seme of Brockton, 19, were arrested and charged with murder.
The pair was arrested in a hotel parking lot in Hyannis after getting into a car driven by two 17-year-old girls.
Police also arrested three other people for trafficking heroin; they were present in the hotel room that Walker and Seme were seen leaving. Heroin was seized from the room.
