BEDFORD, Mass. (
MyFoxBoston.com) -- Parts of the Springs Brook Park were vandalized over the weekend, and police are asking anyone with information about the incidents to come forward.
Overnight Saturday into Sunday, police say vandals tore off the dock of a beach area of the park, and damaged sections of a fence. A swing set and bath house were also damaged.
This is not the first time the area has been vandalized, and patrols will be increased in the area, the Bedford police chief said.
Police are encouraging residents near the area to call 781-275-1212 if they hear any noise or see flashlights at the park after 8:30 p.m.
