ATLANTA (
MyFoxBoston.com) -- A somber anniversary will soon be marked and it may have a double remembrance after this year.
Wednesday, Feb. 11 will be three-years since the death of Whitney Houston and now there are reports that the family of Whitney's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, plan to stop life support that same day. Some
sources claim that is not true.
Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia home on Jan. 31. She was face down in the water. She has been in a medically induced coma since then.
According to the
Atlanta Journal Constitution's Buzz Blog, a source close to the family told the paper, "She is gone and she has been gone for a while."
Meanwhile, the
New York Post's Page Six reports they were told by someone, only identified as sources, that they want to wait until Wednesday so she can die on the same date as her mother.
TMZ is also reporting that family sources told them that Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston, wanted to stop life support on the anniversary, according to TMZ, to "bond mother and daughter for eternity." TMZ has yet to confirm the information.
New York Post's Page Six also reported the same statement.
It is unclear who the sources are for the reports and whether they are the same or different people.
Hundreds of people, including members of the Brown family, attended a vigil in Georgia Monday night.
