MyFoxBoston.com) -- A second health care worker in Texas has tested positive for Ebola.
According to the Texas Department of Health, the worker treated Thomas Eric Duncan, who died from the virus.
It comes as the director of the CDC says the agency should have done more to stop the spread of Ebola in a Texas hospital. Director Tom Frieden said the agency should have stepped in and taken control when the country's first Ebola case emerged in Dallas.
Frieden said the CDC will now rush a team of infectious disease specialists within hours to a hospital that confirms a case of Ebola. He also said a team from the CDC will help protect health care workers from Ebola infection.
Texas nurse Nina Pham contracted the deadly virus while treating Thomas Duncan before he died in Dallas.
Frieden said he's received phone calls from many health care providers concerned that they aren't prepared for Ebola.
