BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Vice President Joe Biden will be among those attending the memorial service taking place on the anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings next week.

The memorial on Tuesday at noon will honor victims of the bombings and their families, as well as survivors and first responders.

In a letter to Biden, inviting him and his wife Dr. Jill Biden to attend the ceremony, Boston Mayor Martin Walsh said that an estimated 3,000 people were expected to attend, including family members of all four of those who died.
