BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) — Police say two women involved in a traffic crash on the Brockton-Abington line earlier this week have died.
A
passenger car and a transportation van collided at what neighbors say
is a problem intersection at North Quincy Street and Boundary Avenue.
Police tell The Enterprise (http://bit.ly/1cxoGaZ ) the driver of the car, 76-year-old Kathryn Cushman, of Holbrook, was flown to a Boston hospital where she later died.
One of her passengers, 75-year-old Betty Marini, of Abington, was taken to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth and has also died.
Two others were injured.
The crash remains under investigation and no one has been charged.
