PITTSBURGH, Penn. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Pittsburgh area couple had the wedding of a lifetime and the celebration was in honor of their dying two-year-old son.
Sean and Christine Stevenson got married Saturday, but the highlight of the ceremony was their son Logan.
Logan is dying of cancer, and on the day of the wedding, he served as his father's best man.
The Stevenson's say they put the wedding off for a long time hoping Logan would recover, but recently doctors told them Logan probably wouldn't make it to the wedding day. The Stevenson's wasted no time and planned the wedding in one week thanks to donations from the community.
Doctors say Logan only has a few more weeks to live.
