WALTHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) - A security guard at Waltham High School is accused of stealing supplies that can be used to make a bomb.
Jesse Holland, 23, of Gardner, was arrested at 1 a.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of a shopping plaza in Leominster. Officers said they searched his car and found a hatchet and an electric stun gun.
In the trunk, police allegedly discovered bottles of aluminum powder, iron powder, magnesium metal ribbon, and an emergency jump-start battery – all items that can be used to create an explosion.
Holland allegedly admitted to taking the items from a chemistry storage room at Waltham High.
Holland is charged with possession of a stun gun, possession of a class A drug, and possession of an infernal machine (bomb-making materials). He's due back in court Friday for a dangerousness hearing.
The incident remains under investigation.
