Kathryn Burcham joined FOX25 News as a general assignment reporter in January 2015.

 

 

Prior to FOX25, Kathryn was a reporter and fill-in anchor at WSOC-TV in Charlotte, N.C. While there, Kathryn provided extensive coverage of the federal corruption trial of former Senator John Edwards. 

 

In 2013, Kathryn traveled to Boston for live coverage of the Boston Marathon Bombings. It was during that time she fell in love with Boston and the spirit of “The Hub” and its residents.

 

Kathryn has also worked at WHIO-TV in Dayton, Ohio and WMBD-TV in Peoria, Ill. She won a 2010 National Edward R. Murrow Award for Video Investigative Reporting and is also an Emmy-nominated journalist.

 

Kathryn attended Western Kentucky University where she graduated summa cum laude with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish. She is a member of Phi Mu sorority and loves to travel, cook, and exercise.
