Catherine Parrotta joined FOX25 as a general assignment reporter in March 2012. She came to FOX25 from WGME-TV in Portland, Maine where she served as a weekend anchor and field reporter.
During her five years at WGME, Catherine covered an incredible range of stories, from the ongoing investigation of missing toddler Ayla Reynolds to security threats along the U.S. northern border. She also had the opportunity to write and produce feature stories and lend a voice to "Mainers" who had unique stories to tell.
Catherine is from Saugus and graduated summa cum laude from Emerson College with a degree in broadcast journalism. She is thrilled to be "back home" and part of the FOX25 team, reporting news about the cities and towns where she grew up!
Catherine's work has been recognized by the Associated Press, and the New England Emmy Awards.
